(everhart) Mike Everhart contributed this photo taken during a detachment to Soudha Bay, Crete between 1982 and 1984. The man on the left is Tracy Medena. The name of the man on the right is not presently available, but he was called "Stringbean". Squadron aircraft were also given names when they went to Soudha Bay, hence C2A 36 shown here with the name "OUZO OUTLAW" on the nose wheel door. According to Mike, the practice was popular with pilots, aircrew, and Det ground crews, but less so with the Squadron CO, who ordered the aircraft names stripped upon return to Sig.
