The photos and articles on this page are from the collection of Giorgio Salerno. Signor Salerno is a science teacher in the Italian school system, and has written a number of articles published in national (Italian) and international aviation periodicals. He is currently researching a book on U.S Navy aircraft operated in Europe. Signor Salerno's other contributions include photos of aircraft and valuable information from U.S. Navy archives on when and if they were assigned to VR-24 His generous the VR-24 web site. He is considered a true friend of VR-24.
