The photos on this page are from the collection of Hamilton Duncan who served as an Aviation Electrician at Naples during the early 1960s. The photos are from the Chief Petty Officers' initiation held for those advancing to that grade in February 1963.

Charged with some imaginary transgression, this initiate identified only by his rating, that of Parachute Rigger, has been directed to drink some concoction while lieing under the table. |
Their travails complete, the five Chief Petty selectees listen as the Officer in Charge of Naval Air Facility, Naples pays tribute to their achievement in attaining the status of Chief Petty Officer. |
